Hasidic Wedding

On one of the most remote islands in the Pacific, a wedding took place between a young couple of the Chabad Lubavitch movement of Orthodox Judaism. With guest from as far away as South Africa and Venezuela along with kosher food imported from Los Angeles, bride Rivky Krasnjansky married young rabbi Avremel Chazanow at the Ihilani Resort at Ko Olina in November 2007. Traditional Hassidic traditions were blended with local Hawaiian color with many wearing colorful kippas and the traditional chuppah ceremony taking place under a beautiful Hawaiian sunset.
